Apparently, It’s May

Apparently, it’s May.
How did that happen?
Did Congress sign off on that?
Isn’t it unconstitutional
For a month to be released
Willy-nilly and without notice
To me? Now, I suppose,
We’ll be having June
And half the year gone
Before I’ve exhaled.

I’ve retired after a career teaching law. I divide my time now between Athens, Georgia, in the States and the south coast of Ireland.
